This page explains what cookies medicodio.ai uses, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how you can change your mind at any time. It covers cookies and similar technologies such as browser storage.
Change your choices
You can review your choices, or turn analytics and advertising off, whenever you like. Turning them off is exactly as easy as leaving them on.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits, such as the choice you made in our cookie banner. Some cookies are set by us, others by services we use, like Google Analytics.
How we ask for your consent
This depends on where you are, because the rules do. We use the country your internet connection reports to decide which of the two applies to you.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, nothing except strictly necessary cookies is stored until you choose. Until you decide, analytics and advertising storage stays switched off.
Everywhere else, including the United States, analytics and advertising cookies are switched on by default when you arrive, and our banner tells you so and offers to turn them off. We do not wait for permission first, but we do stop as soon as you say stop.
Either way the banner gives you the same controls, with the off switch exactly as prominent and exactly as few clicks as the on switch, plus a preferences panel where you can allow analytics without allowing advertising, or the reverse. If you turn them off, the tools we use still load but are instructed not to store anything on your device or read anything from it, and anything already stored under the analytics or advertising categories is deleted.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the site to work and for the security of our forms. They cannot be switched off, and they do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies
Set if you allow analytics, and, outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, unless you turn them off. They tell us how people find and use the site so we can improve it. We use them to understand which pages and which channels are useful, not to build a profile of you for advertising.

Advertising cookies
Set if you allow advertising, and, outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, unless you turn them off. They let us measure which of our campaigns lead to enquiries, and support remarketing.

Other storage we use
Not everything stored on your device is a cookie. We also use:
- Chat widget history: if you use the chat assistant, your conversation is kept in your browser’s local storage so that reloading the page does not lose it. It stays on your device and expires on its own.
- Embedded video: pages with an embedded video load it from YouTube. If you press play, YouTube may set its own cookies under its own policy. We embed using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode where possible.
Third parties
Some cookies above are set by companies other than us. Their use of the data is governed by their own policies:
- Google (Analytics and Ads): policies.google.com/privacy
- Cloudflare: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- YouTube: policies.google.com/privacy
Exactly which Google cookies appear depends on which measurement tags are active at the time. The categories above are what governs them either way: nothing in the analytics or advertising rows is stored unless you have allowed that category.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Besides our banner, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or other websites working properly. Guidance is available at allaboutcookies.org. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google’s browser add-on.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a cookie, we update the tables above and the date at the top of this page. If the change affects what we ask you to consent to, we will ask again rather than assume your earlier answer still applies.
